The large recreation ground is situated just a 3 minute walk from the Woolpack village carpark. It lies behind the primary school and can be accessed through a twitten that runs up from the main road, by the mini roundabout.

The recreation ground has a large grassy area with seating, a cricket pitch and pavillion, a skate park and an under 12's children's playpark.

Additional parking is found in the recreation ground's own carpark which can be accessed from the main road.
